  1. Bhatta’s reviews

Yes! there are several types of salts, you could even soak yourself in pounds of Magnesium sulfate [EPSOM] salt in your bath tub, but what “Shaping Salts” such as this one reviewed here do is much more than just sea salt soaking experience. The other ingredients that has additional therapeutic properties of special blend organic essential oils..

Here are the Ingredients: (Since reading it off the jar is tedious affair)
sea salt, *helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, *rosemarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, tocopherol, *zingiber officinale (ginger) root oil, *citrus grandis (grapefruit) peel oil, *abies balsanea (balsam canada) needle oil, *citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil, *juniperus communis fruit oil, *schinus molle oil, *citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, *vanilla planifolia fruit extract

    *denotes certified organic ingredient.

This is intended for Phase I of the treatment that you can do at home for 1-4 weeks. This Shaping salt can be combined with Shaping Oil Massage on skin together with shaping oil or use as a standalone “bath soak” topically which is what is possible if you buy this shaping salt product alone reviewed here.

Since the content in the jar is only (560+ gms) and is expensive, it is suggested that you use it topically instead of pouring it all in bathtub for soaking. Couple of tablespoons is plenty each time you take bath and let it soak into your skin topically when skin is wet while you shampoo and manage your hair etc. The Smell is good, it does have the “ginger root oil” smell that is more prominent than others. It does make bathtub experience at home more pleasant and the skin does feels soft and smooth unlike using soap that leaves your skin dry.

  2. Blurryface

I LOVE this company’s products. Every single one is very pure, zero synthetic or unnecessary additives, and they use potent essential oils. They don’t scrimp on quality and you get more than what you pay for in potency and strength of their formulations.
I have their Awaken salts and it’s scent is like crack to my brain. Their airy, non-oily salts make my body feel soooo stimulated and soothed at the same time. I use the salts as a foot scrub, a little in my face wash, and for more applications than just the bath. However, this blend was too limey for my preference. While it has other essential oils that I love, all I could smell was the lime. I’m giving them 4 stars for their great quality and lack of preservatives, etc, but docking one star for the scent on this one. If you like pungent, tart lime, this is for you. This blend also includes things like ginger, grapefruit, and vanilla, all scents I really like, but somehow all that comes through is lime oil. Very healthy, very clean-smelling, very purifying, but not my favorite. Otherwise, a great product and wow, does it make all the nerves under your skin feel alive in the most wonderful way!
